Our Company
Salisla Investment Limited is a private cargo handling company established in June 2022. The Company’s current corporate head office and its main operations center is at KICD Dry Port located at the Kurasini area, Copper Road in Dar es Salaam near to the dockyard.
The Company has been handling mainly mineral cargos for export and foods, chemicals, motor vehicles and other general cargo for import.
Our current services are offered under the following two business lines as outlined below
- Container Freight Station (CFS)
- Inland Container Depot (ICD)
- Custom Bonded Warehouse
Our Capacity
We operate a total of 68,400 square meters Dry Port, called the KICD, in Kurasini Area in the proximity of Dar es Salaam Port. The Depot is only 1km from Tanzania Ports Authority (TPA)-Dar es Salaam Port Terminal 1 and only 1/2km from Terminal 2. It is the nearest Dry Port to the port of Dar es-Salaam whereby containers can be easily and quickly delivered/picked to and from the port. The Depot includes 16,000 square meter covered warehousing area for storage of customers’ cargo, and spacious offices which include Customs offices and other Government Agencies who facilitate clearance of customers’ cargo.
The Depot also has a total of 33,010 square meters of fully concreted pavements area for storage of full and empty containers.
The Depot is connected to two Tanzania Zambia Railway Authority (TAZARA) rail tracks, taking up to a maximum of 48 rail wagons at a time. This railway mainly serves customers with cargos from Zambia and DRC.
